Using Gliptone Liquid Leather, have i done it right?

Long time since i've been here :D

Just had a quick question. I did a full clean of the leather today using gliptone leather cleaner and then conditioner.

However, to clean the seats i damply cleaned, then scrubbed/rubbed the cleaner on using a cloth, and then cleaned that off with a damp cloth. Is scrubbing okay? On the website it says do not scrub...which it doesn't say on the back of the bottle!

I then probably used a bit too much conditioner and scrub/rubbed the conditioner in. Is that okay? Thanks
