I got bored in the workshop the other day so decided to rework an old display case I had lying about gathering dust. I knocked off the ball/claw feet and replaced them with industrial castors, painted it bright red, made up some chrome accents using BMW E30 rain channel trim, fitted a 50's light bar with AA emblem, made some door handles from BMW 13mm spanners. It now houses all my model cars I keep getting for pressies.
Next on the agenda is a (sacriledge) HiFi made up from......W108
Stacked headlight chrome trim housing two 6" speakers each in silver with chrome wire mesh covering, built into an enclosure that will basically mimic the wing. W114 complete grill mounted similarly onto a deep enough bonnet shaped wooden housing that will house the amp/cd/source. They will be made to be separate units though will fit together to create the front end of the car more or less (you get the idea).
