Hi all firstly I'm new on here so firstly I will say hello to all befor I start asking for help but have forums to be the best source of realistic info/help basically I'm looking at buying a 2005 311cdi sprinter with sprintshift to use as a recovery truck for myself it is an ex Tesco delivery van which I don't know is a good thing or not yes should have been serviced maintained but has had a lot of stop/start driving equaling more gear use it has done 255k so quite high but at £3500 think its a good price compared to others I've seen basically my worry is the gearbox more than anything have read some good and bad stories about the sprintshift boxes so basically can you give me some honest genuine advice as need to make a decision by 10 o clock today thanks in advance and look forward to your response
