Just spent a few days behind the wheel of a E350 CDI on a '61 plate. I noticed when driving through built up areas that the COMAND sat nav showed physical representations of buildings where as the COMAND in my vehicle - a 2010 CLS350 kind of shows building outlines. This got me thinking that I have no idea how to amend/upgrade the sat nav as and when it becomes possible so, how do you know when to upgrade and how is it done. If possible I'd like to have the version that was in the newer E class as it certainly felt like it was a more improved version.
