Hi, I've recently fitted a refurbished set of W215 19" AMG alloys and tyres on my MY2000 CL500 and have a problem with the rear tyres rubbing on the arches; (the top of the sidewall contacts the lip of the arch). The rubbing only occurs going downhill with a dip in the road surface that causes the suspension to "kick" back up. I have the recommended 19" x 275/35 tyres.
I'm just wondering if there was a different hub size or if the rear brake discs are different for the AMG wheels to move the wheel inside the wheel arch further?
Thanks for any help!
