Last week my ABS light came on and my local guy plugged my car in and found a fault on the n/s/r sensor.
So off I trot and buy one from Merc dealer £49.56, jacks the car high and put large axle stands in place.
The old one came out of the hub no problem and very long nosed pliers pulled the connector out of the unit fastened to the floor above the axle and out dripped grey/white coloured water obviously the cause of the problem but I have yet to have the old unit checked out.
Question is can the unit that excepts the plugs be accessed from inside the car to seal the plugs better so I don't have the same problem in the future or is 6 years a good life span for a sensor and should I leave it alone.
Cheers
David
