HI My wife has a 1998 SLK and the vaccum pump for the central locking pump in the boot got soaked because of water leaking into the boot. I have looked everywhere for a replacement pump but am told the part number I need is very rare (typical) . I don't know whether these can be repaired.Can anyone help??? Part number 1708000548. Jack
