Hi, have just joined this Mercedes Benz Owners Forum. I purchased my Mercedes C180K Kompressor Auto last Oct 2012. Started car this morning after very cold night, to find the speedometer, tachometer , temperature , clock etc was not working. Called in at local garage but he wouldn't touch it. Phoned the garage where i purchased her from, as I'd taken out the Extra 6 months extended Warranty. They advised me to phone the garage they use to sort out the problem. Bizarrely, they had another C180k in their garage which had the same problem as mine, brought in this morning!! They took photo's of the instrument panel, and are going to phone me tomorrow to tell me if they can get the parts. . . What i would like to know is.. Is the Instrument Panel covered on my Warranty??? And is this a Mercedes Recall??
