Until I can get together with Malcolm to fix my leaky boot I have dried out the foam block (It was pretty wet) and the whole boot, and have wrapped the foam totally in cling film before putting it back. This should stop it absorbing and retaining water.
I see this as purely a bit of short term first aid.
I cant see any downside to this temporary partial remedy - can anyone else ?
