Just in case anyone interested I have just posted a used tyre for sale on ebay item ID 221194416563 with the following description.
On offer is a slightly worn Continental Conti Sport Contact 3 tyre size 225/40ZR 18 92Y MO with 7mm depth of tread. According to my local tyre fitting company this tyre looks almost new with a considerable amount of tread left.
The tyre was on the front left of my C220 Mercedes, which I have owned since new. The front right tyre was damaged in a pot hole, but I could not find a new replacement Contact 3, as they are being discontinued in favour of the Contact 5. Rather than have a mix of a used Contact 3 and a new Contact 5 on the front I opted instead for two new Contact 5s. Collection available or can send by courier.
