96 C280 - Where Are The Transmission Vacuum Hoses?

Hi,

Looking for some help.....


I have searched and not found the answer.

Since I removed the starter, and some other work was done, the car shifts very hard.

I am trying to get acces to the vacuum hoses on the transmission to determine if they are loose/disconnected. I cant even see them. Do I need to remove parts to get access? Advice would be really appreciated.
