This is interesting as many have been tempted with a OM606 turbo conversion but deterred due to the position of steering shaft.
This car has been converted to turbo diesel om606 from 1999 e300td,to expand on the conversion a little it has a herlevi 7mm superpump fitted! this if you are familiar with black smoke racing is the daddy of fuel pumps, built for up to 400bhp from this engine to support this it also has a large front mount inter cooler professionally fitted and a full stainless exhaust system. The current turbo on the car is a hybrid standard unit to give little to no lag for daily driving and 275bhp but I do have the legendary massive holdset HX40 and KKD motorsport manifold for 500bhp (available at extra cost)the car has also been converted to manual transmission (getrag cosworth) which is the strongest manual available from mercedes and to transfer power a custom made sinter clutch was purchased and fitted
This car started life as a e320 sport line with every extra available from mercedes benz!
