A week ago I bought new ignition leads (BOSH) and plugs(NGK) , changed plugs, connected temporarily new leads without removing old ones (I didn't have time to remove air filter, old leads etc...), started the engine - worked perfectly. Great I thought. I let the engine warm up and went home.
I decided to finish the job yesterday. I removed air filter old cables, opened distributor cap to check if it is still ok, pulled rotor arm off, cleaned it, put it back together, connected all leads, job done. I did not touch distributor housing.
By the time I finished, my brother started mess around with mixture adjusting bolt(he just tried to find correct allen key size, but he moved the bolt a bit).
Key into ignition...turn...and nothing. Engine did not start, did not fire up even on one cylinder. We spent another 4 hours till midnight checking everything 100 times - leads distributor plugs... spark is very strong, fuel pump works, rotor arm sits correctly, distributor cap ok, leads in correct order...I run out of ideas...
Anyone can help?
