Ignition Key 2001 e320

Hi all, having trouble with the the key or ignition switch on my 2001 E320. I think some snow wet the switch and also the steering wheel is in the lock position, when I put the key in there is no noise and the ignition will not come on and the steering wheel will not come unlocked .... Help please.
