Hey guys, this is my first post on here and I hope i'll be able to get some help or advice.
I've got a C180 K (56 Reg) and every so often, whether the car is cold or warm, when trying to start the engine it keeps ticking and doesnt start immediately. After a few attempts the engine starts, the rpm revs up to 40 then goes down below 10 as the car shakes and switches off, as if its suffocating.
I've replaced the air mass sensor, fuel filter, had my fuel pump tested and is in good condition, also had a diagnostic test with no faults, so I'm running out of options here and would really appreciate it if anyone could suggest what the problem is.
