I own a rather tired and somewhat on its last legs 1996 E Class Estate 200 (W210 Model).
The car has done 186k miles but still happily trundles along.
My Yellow ABS and ETC warning lights have just come on, question:-
Is it still safe to drive, the brakes still appear to work normally ?
Is this a common problem and more pertinently is it expensive to put right as the car has no real re-sale value.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

PS. I suppose I should be grateful this is the first main fault in years whereas my SL 500 goes wrong all the time and costs a fortune to keep on the road !!!
