Help needed, I just purchased a 2004 C200 Kompressor, it,s done 94k with MB full service history ,the car was bought as a none runner, the seller said it jumped timing, any way recovered it to a friends garage after striping down the rocker cover to inspect around the timing chain area i noticed the chain was still seated around both cam pulleys but when i tried turning the engine by hand it seem it would get jam by the chain slack any way i removed the tensioner and reset the timing with both cams at thier marks and crankshaft at OT,i refit the tensioner and tried turning the engine by hand clockwise and noticed the exhaust cam pulley keeps flying back at least 4 to 5 teeth, i treid this around 3 times and each time it does exactly the same thing. has anyone got any advice. thanks
