This 2006 CDI starts from cold, idles for a few seconds, falters then shuts off with engine fault. It will repeat this over and over, with the idling time extending as the engine gets warmer (?). Ultimately it will idle forever and drive with no apparent faults. The engine fault clears after a while.
If the engine is revved when cold, it falters and stops a bit quicker. If it's driven (very stop-go), it fixes itself more quickly. First hint of this was an occasional falter while trickling in traffic, then it stopped on way to work.
Fault codes found included open circuit injectors 2 and 3, but trial replacements were no different (sorry - I don't have a full list just yet). ECU Doctor found no ECU faults. Wiring looks great. Fuel filter has been changed.
