I've just noticed the last couple of days with the roof down that the front n/s is creaking quite noticeably at low speed, so this evening when I got out of the car a push down on the front wing and it creaks easily and doesn't do it on any other corner. I did a search first and found that someone with a 2003 CL55 had the same noise and Malcolm recommended spaying the joints and rubbers with PTFE tape whilst covering the brake discs. Would this be the same as for my car is it completely different suspension? And would it be advisable to remove the wheel first to gain more access?
