SLK - Any problems??

Hi all, I need to use all the accumulated knowledge of you guys as I am thinking of buying an SLK and wondered if there are any know issues with the roof etc...?

It would be around a 56-58 plate (not sure of the model) and are there any engines to avoid?

I don't want too big an engine due to running costs
