Buying high mileage SL55 AMG

I am looking at buying an SL55 with 96,000 miles on the clock... has anyone had one that has been in this region and beyond?

I am trying to gauge how likely it is for very expensive things to start going wrong. :confused:

If it has a good service history and feels, looks and drives well should I value that beyond the mileage being less but in a car that feels uncared for?
