Hi, Guys. Got a 211 E class 220cdi auto 2004. It looks as though something has hit the lower front dam of the car and gone through the lower plastic grille. Whatever it was has hit the intercooler right at the front of the nose area ( I take it that its the intercooler, Behr ref: A211 500 10 02 is displayed) as well as doing the fins over abot a square inch area, its also crumpled one of the horizontal tubes and opened it backwards, which I take it carry the air to cool. It looks like theres been a SLIGHT leakage of something from the damaged area, could this be water condensed in the intercooler? My question is: Is it necessary to replace the whole intercooler, or just patch over the damage with a chemical metal or something? Your advice appreciated as ever!!!!
