switched on the engine this morning after being off for 12 hrs. immediately the electric fan switched on even though the engine was cold. when i went to put the car in drive she moved but i noticed that the S and M indicator light was not showing on the intruement panel. i switched her off and on again and the car drove again but the S and M light didnt not show and the car would not go into 6 th gear. i stopped the car and locked it and the S and M button showed and the car worked as normal. it did this a coupke of weeks ago, but then drove 200 miles over last two weeks without any issue.
