advise on changing brake pads on 07 e280 cdi

Hi i am going to change my brake pads all round on my 07 e280cdi estate in a few wks now the nights are getting brighter , i have changed brake pads on fords , jaguars etc but never a merc so is there anything i should know special tool etc or is it usual case of 2 mounting bolts out of caliper and release the old pads .
Any advice, picture etc welcome big or small.
Also what pads should i buy and is there anywhere they are cheaper.
