Hi Just wondering if anyone has come across a similar problem, the coolant light came on, on my W202 C180, coolant level was fine and not leaking so began by replacing the coolant level sensor in the top of the header tank mounted on top of the radiator.
After reading a few posts on here I have replaced now twice the wind screen washer bottle sensor as when this goes down the coolant light goes off and the washer level light comes on, after replacing this sensor for second time the coolant light will still not go out unless i take out the washer bottle sensor still plugged in, allow it to empty and turn it upside down, even then though, the next time I stop and restart the engine the engine coolant light will be back on.
Just find it very annoying that what ever i try doesn't work and I'm close to removing the coolant bulb from the cluster, obviously don't want to have to do this though.
Any help would be gratefully received.
Thanks
