Does changing automatic gearbox oil and filter improve the gear change

Has anyone got a automatic gearbox oil and filter change done and actually seen any difference and by that i mean smoother gear change,, faster gear change etc .
I have saw lots of questions about gearbox oils, changes , and should it be done but there are few answers from people who got it done.??
Perhaps anyone who had theres done could share what and if it made any difference. :confused:

I do beleive that it is good for your gearbox to change the oil but that is not the question here.
