Taking a risk here even mentioning this, but overcoming my pride one of you more experienced guys may help a newbie!
Having recently joined the MB world (CLK 230 avante garde) 2002, everytime we switch on, there is a strange odour for about 2 or 3 minutes coming through the blowers. It stops after a while and i wondered if it is to do with the EC button (switched off with no light) but then I switched on (light on) and it seems the same. Have checked the air intakes - no dead mice!
Any advice most welcome.
