Lazy Rear Quarter Glass.

The last couple of days I've noticed the N/S rear quarter glass hasn't fully closed when the roof is closed. It sits about an inche too low.
Last night while operating it. I heard a rubber on rubber graunching noise, so I applied some Gummi Pflege, which has helped no end.

So my question is really, should the quater glass motor overcome the restriction, or do I have a problem brewing?
