got my son in law out to fit 3 new pixel ribbons he cleaned up all the contacts with cocktail sticks 3hour job no solvents used at all put all back everything is working like new i am delighted now for new engine mounts next week have a nice day i had. PS.bought ribbons on ebay £12.50 the none solder type
