hello all, i've just purchased a 1995 multivalve diesel with 250k miles on the clock. while driving home on a fast hilly dual carriageway (a34) i decided to try the cruise control out. it seemed to work fine, but i noticed that on downward hills and on overrun the exhaust kicked out plumes of smoke (bluey grey colour). this only appeared while using the cruise control. in fact, as soon as i switched off the cruise, on the same hill, same speed the plumes stopped. i could not reproduce the smoke while driving using the foot throttle, whatever speed. i find this strange, can anyone advise? thanks, christian
