for those of us who remember working with and fixing cars in the days before diagnostic machines like STAR were necessary/essential, i went back to those days for my boost leak fault.
first i found oily residue so removed and cleaned hoses, checked for holes etc. then i put it all back together and sprayed soapy water all over everything, revved the engine and looked for bubbles. there was a large bubble appeared at the O/S end of the intercooler in the area where the plastic end joins the alloy section, so i can only assume that it is an intercooler fault.
are they a big job to change (ie bumper off etc)?
where can i get one CHEAP?
thanks in advance
