E290 tuning

Hey guys I just got a 1996 e290 td! love the car already but I think that the 2.9 liter 5 cylinder turbocharged motor can handle alot more than 130 horsepower. Any suggestions on tuning boxes, remaps, intercooler, or even fitting a large turbo on there? The current one is tiny and I can see there is plenty of space to upgrade in there.
