I've just been offered a 1995 124 series 220e coupe, petrol, only 2 owners from new, mint condition, full service history, all but the last 2 from a main Merc dealer (They closed down) 87000 miles metallic blue.
I am wondering if these are the cars that suffer the loom problems, or indeed, if any one knows of any other problems I should be aware of. The engine is said to be a "111" 16 valve 4 pot job, injection system apparently has the Air mass thingy on it.
Tempting price, so just need to make sure I dont drop a clanger.
