I've been trying to research running a Mercedes C250 TD W202 1998 on Veg oil but have found very little useful information on the subject.
Does anyone on here have any experince running their C250 or other merc on veg oil or any other alternative fuel?
I was thinking about running mine on some veg oil, maybe a 50/50 mix of deisel and veg. I'm not going to run on waste oil. If I can find new oil cheap enough I want to run on that.
What are peoples thoughts on this? is it a good or bad idea?
Recently I have been adding about 300m of mineral 2 stroke oil to a full tank of diesel. so far things are good my engine seems to run a bit smoother and a bit quieter too. I was reading that it helps lube up the injector pump and other parts of the fuel system that poor quality diesel doesn't do so well these days such as supermarket fuel at Sainsburys etc not that I use supermarket fuel but thought there was no harm in trying as I have only heard good things about adding some 2T.
